A wardrobe shared is a wardrobe loved. Meet babs.

Named primarily after my dog and secondarily after everyone’s favourite bleach-blonde landlady (the only Windsor I acknowledge), babs is the name I’ve given to my rentable wardrobe.

It seems that I’ve unwittingly dedicated an enormous chunk of my life to sourcing pieces that make my heart sing. In the vintage realm we’ve got heavy-hitters in the form of Dior, Ema Savahl, La Perla, Meadham Kirchhoff, Tomasz Starzewski and Michel Klein. In the statement domain we’ve got the likes of AREA, Saks Potts, Poster Girl, LouLou and Paris Texas. And I haven’t even touched on the vintage silk and feather wedding gown, the custom crystallised chainmail mini dresses or the two-tone ostrich feather hats.

I’ve got a wealth of clothes – an embarrassment of fashion riches – and not enough time to wear them. Need I say more?
